Family Pizza Restaurant

This is one of our go to spots for pizza..grinders...even salad. We do mostly takeout but have eaten in. One time we ate in a very loud kids sport team was there. We just made the best of the noise. Love their pizza especially the crust. I even like the grinder rolls but sometimes when asking for a salad n allergy alert the very thing like peppers just happened to get mixed in. Very cross contained the salad Area. Called about it. Didn't even offer to make me a new salad but didn't get an apology for the reaction it gave me. Usually pleasant and accommodating. Will go again .

This is our goto place for when we want pizza to eat along the shore over looking the water. The food comes out fast, the price is good and the taste is great. They have a faily normal pizza shop menu and nothing that crazy. The real winner with them is their crust which is divine. Even on a busy night you can get a pizza in under 30 minutes.

Sat outside on beautiful flower ladened patio overlooking Long Island Sound. The three of us ordered a large garden salad, add kalamata olives, and a large taco pizza to split. There was plenty of delicious fresh salad to go around. The house Italian homemade dressing is mixed just right to tantalize your taste buds. The taco pizza was a healthy treat as well. It was loaded with olives, lettuce, tomatoes, taco meat, and of course sauce and cheese. A nice crispy crust throughout. There was enough to satisfy and bring plenty home. It certainly made for a nice outing in lovely downtown Niantic.

Started off great, walked in (party of two) greeted and sat down. Ordered an appetizer, the server was training a new employee. We received our mozz sticks, very quickly, we ordered our food. (We were the ONLY patrons in the restaurant) we waited and waited and waited. During our extremely long wait, the two main staff gossiped about other employees AND the owner very loudly. Cussing and bad mouthing someone who had called out sick. It was really weird. The new employee looked uncomfortable, I know we were. The server looked at us and said wow it’s taking along time for their food and just went back to chatting. One of the employees put in a food order and literally got her food within minutes while we waited nearly 40 minutes. The owner came in and they STILL carried on with their conversations. When the food finally came out, it wasn’t cooked correctly but instead of trying to fix anything we paid and left, it wasn’t worth it. 60 dollars for trash service and burnt fish & chips.
